6. Write a Strong First Line on Your Reels

Google treats Reels more like YouTube videos. They can show up in search results with your caption as the description.

The first line of your Reel caption is the most important. Make it clear and keyword-rich — like a headline. Think about what someone would type to find your video and lead with that.

Does This Actually Work?

Yes — but it's not guaranteed every time.

Google doesn't index every Instagram post. It picks what it finds most relevant and useful. So not every optimized post will rank.
